A beautiful formation combining various octahedron fluorites with salient steps and lines on their bodies.
Fluorites with this formation are usually known as Octa Fluorite, but in fact they are not truly octahedrons, because they are not complete, so it´s more accurate to say that they are a quadrangular pyramid, although it´s possible to see that the main crystal on this cluster has already the other faces from the half line down growing.
It´s dark purple with some brighter nuances and when put in the light it turns to a brighter beautiful purple.
It´s formation is also spectacular, with many steps in most of the crystal´s body.
This crystal comes from Zhejiang Province Mining area, in China.
