Yaogangxian is a magical place capable of producing the finest fluorite crystals in the world and this is a wonderful example of that.

This is a stepped purple Fluorite with some Calcite and Quartz. It has great clarity and an almost complete formation.

This crystal is from the stepped cubic find and it was mined in the 90´s.

Yaogangxian mines have been closed for the last 3 years.

It was supposed to open this year (2026) but it is not going to open.

By now no one knows if Yaogangxian mines are going to open ever again.

High quality pieces like this one will start to be very scarce and will be a very valuable addition to any type of collection.
