A wonderful example of a Lemurian Quartz Crystal of high quality.
This crystal has optical clarity with some barnacle crystals on one of the faces. Some of these barnacle crystals are penetrating the main crystal and are tabular and double terminated.
But the most curious feature of this crystal is the contact point that it has in the shape of a number 9.
This crystal is practically undamaged, it only has a tiny damage near the termination.
Optical crystals are crystals that are water clear, we can easily see through them and are also crystals that have reached a very high state of evolution.
This crystal comes from La Monina Calcetero Mine, Municipality of Bobur, Boyaca Colombia.
(According to my Colombian seller this mine is in front of the famous Peña Blanca mine, so the crystals quality is very similar).
