This Fluorite on matrix are beautiful and very rare. They were mined 20 years ago and nowadays are very hard to find in the market.


The Fluorite crystals have an amazing troncated octahedron shape  and the matrix has dissolved calcite as an outside layer of the quartz matrix.




This crystal comes from Huanggangliang Mine (also known as Huanggang Mine) in Hexigten Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, China.


* Huanganglian mines are officially closed since 2019. The crystals that come out of there now are sporadic and only mined by artisan miners, people that go there with their own tools and get what they find.


Huanggang is a very unique mining place. It can produce a very limited type of crystals from a small pocket and as they go further and deeper through the earth the crystals evolve and change into something completelly different, and so that makes the crystals that are mined there very rare and unique.
