Yaogangxian is a magical place capable of producing the finest fluorite crystals in the world and this is a wonderful example of that.


This specimen is a combination between Fluorite, Arsenopyrite, Calcite and Quartz. 
The Fluorite is the merging of many cubes into one stepped cube, it´s like cubes within cubes, with steps, an amazing purple color with some blue phantoms and it has a unique feature, which is, an octaherdon growing inside of the cube. 
The Fluorite seats on a Arsenopyrite matrix, with Calcite and Quartz penetrating it.


Yaogangxian mines have been closed for the last 3 years.
It was supposed to open this year (2026) but it is not going to open.
By now no one knows if Yaogangxian mines are going to open ever again.


High quality pieces like this one will start to be very scarce and will be a very valuable addition to any type of collection.
