Yaogangxian is a magical place capable of producing the finest fluorite crystals in the world and this is a wonderful example of that.


This specimen is a combination between Fluorite on Arsenopyrite.
The Fluorite cube is very well formed and almost complete, its colors are spectacular, it is clear with purple and green phantoms near its borders. 
On some of the photos taken closer to the fluorite it is possible to see some green\yellow dots on its face, which i believe it is petroleum and what it also part of what makes this crystal UV reactive, giving it an electric blue color that completelly puts me in awe.




Yaogangxian mines have been closed for the last 3 years.
It was supposed to open this year (2026) but it is not going to open.
By now no one knows if Yaogangxian mines are going to open ever again.


High quality pieces like this one will start to be very scarce and will be a very valuable addition to any type of collection.
