A crystal with good clarity, a tabular shape, double termination and a floater formation, with some barnacle crystals attached to it.


Floater quartz crystals, also known as Single Crystals, are a very rare type of crystals, that grew unattached to a matrix, meaning free of matrix. They can be double terminated but not always.
It's possible for a floater to be singly terminated or even lack clear terminations on both ends.


This crystal comes from the Skardu mines, Skardu Area, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.
